1. Do you clean residential properties?
Yes, but only for residential move-in and move-out cleaning. Steamworks provides commercial cleaning as well as limited residential cleaning for clients preparing to move into or out of a home.
We do not provide recurring residential housekeeping or regular house cleaning.
2. What areas do you service?
Steamworks currently provides cleaning services throughout Burnaby, British Columbia.

3. Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes. Steamworks provides the standard cleaning supplies and equipment needed to perform the
agreed services.
We select products and equipment based on the facility, surface, and cleaning requirements. Where appropriate, we use plant-based and lower-chemical products and targeted thermal steam cleaning.
4. Do you offer one-time cleaning?
Yes. We offer one-time commercial cleaning, recurring commercial cleaning, and residential move-in/move-out cleaning.
We'll review your requirements and determine the appropriate scope and pricing for the service you need.
5. How does pricing work?
Our pricing is based primarily on the size and type of the space, along with factors such as cleaning frequency, areas to be serviced, and the requested scope of work.

6. How do you handle missed areas or cleaning concerns?
If you believe an agreed cleaning task was missed or an area did not meet the agreed scope of work, please contact us as soon as possible after the service.
We'll review the concern and, where appropriate, arrange a return visit to address the missed area. Our goal is to resolve legitimate service concerns promptly and maintain the agreed cleaning standards.
7. What cleaning products do you use?
We select products based on the surface, facility, and cleaning requirements.
Where appropriate, Steamworks uses plant-based and lower-chemical cleaning products to help reduce unnecessary chemical use while maintaining effective cleaning standards.
We also maintain appropriate product information and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products used in our operations.
8. How do you prevent cross-contamination?
We use a color-coded cleaning system to designate cleaning tools for different areas of a space.
For example, cleaning materials used in washrooms are kept separate from those used in general workspaces and other areas. This helps maintain separation between cleaning zones and reduces the risk of transferring contaminants from one area to another.
9. Are you insured?
Yes. Steamworks carries $2 million in Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance.
Our coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of the applicable insurance policy.
10. How do I request a quote?
Getting an estimate is easy.
